Today Intuit named Sasan Goodarzi its new president and chief executive officer. Sasan is currently executive vice president for Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group. He will assume the role Jan. 1, 2019.

Current Chairman and CEO Brad Smith will assume a new role as Executive Chairman of Intuit’s Board of Directors.
“Having led each of our largest businesses and served as our CIO during his 13 years with the company, Sasan is a proven leader and growth driver,” said Smith. “He has been instrumental to the transformation of our company and was a key architect of our One Intuit Ecosystem strategy. He is both ready and primed to lead Intuit into the future.”
