Lessons From National Tax Security Awareness Week

As we gear up for the holidays, as well as tax season, it’s important for every consumer to remain vigilant and be aware of fraudulent scams that could expose their personal information.

This may include avoiding actions like inadvertently oversharing personal information or clicking on links from an unknown or suspicious sender. Even if the sender seems to be from a familiar source, consumers should take caution to recognize when an email is mimicking a legitimate sender or business.
